Confession of Faith

Reformed Evangelical Confession of Faith

GOD

We believe in the only living and true God, who is eternal and whose existence is dependent on himself, who transcends and precedes all creation; who in eternity are in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit, namely One God; who created the universe from nothing by His powerful Word; who sustains and rules all that he has created and maintains his eternal statutes.

BIBLE

We believe that the Bibles of the Old and New Testaments are the perfect revelation of God which was inspired by the Holy Spirit to their authors and are therefore infallibly true in the original text. The Bible states in it the testimony of the Holy Spirit, and is the sole and absolute authority for faith and life, both for individuals, churches and communities. We believe that the Bible is innocent in everything it teaches, including matters of history and science.

HUMAN

We believe that humans have been uniquely created in the image of God, created with holiness, justice and true knowledge; and commanded by God to live the thoughts of God as an obedient covenant-keeper: he is entrusted with reigning and seeking God's other creations for God's glory. We believe that all aspects of life should be lived under God's commandments as an expression of obedience to God's laws.

SIN

We believe that what happened in Adam and was also the representative of mankind, resulted in all mankind falling into sin and death; spiritually dead, deserving of God's righteous wrath, without hope and without help to gain salvation, either from himself or from outside himself or from this world.

GRACE AGREEMENT

We believe that God in eternity has made a covenant for His elect, with Jesus Christ as Head; that through the perfect obedience of Jesus Christ and His death as a substitute for man on the cross, Christ had fulfilled the demands of God's wrath against His people. Through the power of Christ's resurrection, God continually calls and gathers His people from all ages and all nations to become a royal priesthood and a holy nation to His glory.

JESUS CHRIST

We believe in Jesus Christ, the second Person of the Triune God, true God and true man, the only human Savior; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary; living without sin, being crucified to death and rising from the dead, ascending to heaven, sitting at the right hand of God the Father to intercede for His people as high priest, who is successful and understanding; that He will come again in His glorified body, visually and suddenly to judge the living and the dead.

THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Triune God, the Divine Inspector of the Bible, who convicts people of their sin through His Word, which regenerates them, so that faith and repentance in Jesus Christ will grow for salvation; He equips believers with the power to obey God's laws; He gave the Church of Jesus Christ gifts for the service of the saints; He intercedes for the faithful with sighing unspoken for and until the day of glorification of God's people.

CHURCH AND MISSION

We believe in one holy and holy Church, made up of all the elect of God from all ages and some of whom are now being exploited in the local church; the local church must be an expression of the holy and holy nature of the Church by maintaining the purity of the teachings according to the Bible, by prioritizing truth-based unity in the bonds of love between various local churches and existing church schools, by radiating the glory of God through worship, teaching the Word of God , performing baptism and holy communion, fellowship, exercising discipline in love, ministry and mission, we believe that the church is in the world to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and reveal the Lordship of Christ through real actions. The church carries out the mission of Jesus Christ, which is to establish the government of God's Kingdom over this world, both through evangelistic efforts in this world, until Christ returns to complete the fulfillment of His Kingdom.

Reformed Evangelical Evangelism Faith

1. I believe in the gospel as God's power to save everyone who believes.

2. I believe in one God in Three Persons, Creator of mankind and the world, the Supreme Judge of all sins and the Source of human salvation.

3. I believe the fall of man is a historical fact which causes total pollution of human nature. Therefore, humans are unable to save themselves.

4. I believe in God's sovereign grace to humans who are not worthy of salvation, who choose His people in His highest wisdom by His eternal appointment, and act in the dynamic process of history, to redeem them in the Only Begotten. Him, Jesus Christ.

5. I believe that the incarnation of Jesus Christ through the virgin birth, His life without sin, His crucifixion, death, resurrection and ascension are historical facts that compose the essence and message of the Gospel, as the only means of attaining God's salvation.

6. I believe in the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus Christ, contained in His substitution, restoration (propitiation), redemption and reconciliation, which gives new life to humans.

7. I believe in the preaching of the gospel to be the only good news, which provides the basis for a happy life and eternal hope for mankind. Evangelism is:

- The living testimony of true Christians who subject themselves to God's commands.

- Creating a personal encounter between sinners and God, through the mediation of Jesus Christ.

- The cause which gives rise to saving faith in people's hearts.

- The key to church growth and joy in His eternal presence.

8. I believe in repentance as evidence of the new birth of the Holy Spirit which produces true faith in Jesus Christ and produces new life fruits.

9. I believe in the anointing of the Holy Spirit in evangelism in the form of courage, wisdom, power, and joy to be a witness for those who obey the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.

10. I believe in the finality of the gospel which is perfect in itself, which cannot be replaced or compared, both with religious thinking, philosophical ideas, and worldly good deeds (qualitatively different), as well as with the cultural mandate and social care in the orthodox faith and evangelical (just a complement to pre- and post-evangelism), or the Holy Spirit and the miracles and signs in the Bible (which God sometimes uses to witness His gospel). We must maintain the perfection of the gospel.

11. I believe in the unchanging power of the gospel of Jesus Christ that is able to care for His redeemed people and transform society through their testimonies until the day of glorification at the time of Jesus' return.
